Just another WordPress.com weblogHow My Parents Met
Every couple had their story, and so did my parents. Although their story wasn’t dramatic like movies or romantic like Romeo and Juliet, it still has value to remember, because it was my parents’ story!
When my mother was a student of Chung Shan Medical University, she joined a church voluntary team to serve some children in Nanto. At the same time, a predecessor suggested my father, who was a freshman in National Chung Hsing University. This was his chance to work with my mother. Even though they belonged to the same team, but when Dad attended, Mom didn’t come, and when Mom appeared, Dad was absent. This strange situation lasted for about half of year, until summer vacation.
In the summer vacation, Mom had a test in physics, Dad noticed that Mom had a big problem in physics, so he gave her some physics notes he made. Mom was surprised that a stranger was willing to share his note with her. To her delight, she got , good grades with his help. After this event, they became good friends and often worked together in the team.
One day, Dad invited Mom go to Tung Hai University with him. Mom agreed. They had a happy moment in Tung Hai University, and it was they first time they went on a date.
That night, Dad thought about an idea what he had kept in mind for a long time. He plucked up his courage, and asked Mom “Do you want to be my girlfriend? ” Mom smiled and answered, “ Sure. I expect you to become a good boyfriend.”
Of course Dad was a good boyfriend, and it proves that he is a good husband and a good father as well.

When I knew my father would took us to see snow at Tai Pin Mountain last winter vacation, I just thought he was kidding because Tai Pin Mountain isn’t the most highest mountain in Taiwan. Both my parents wanted to see what snow looks like, so we started from our home one day during the cold winter vacation.
We got up at 4:00 am, and after 4 hours trip, we climbed up Tai Pin Mountain. Although we were tired for getting up early, it was a good idea because when we arrived Tai Pin Mountain, there wasn’t many people. At first we haven’t saw any snow, all of my family were disappointed, but my father didn’t give up. He decided to drive car along the road to top of mountain. When we arrived at a parking lot, we saw the snow falling from sky and onto jackets. It was our first time to see snow, and we are happy. My brother found that many trees with snow on it, I took a picture to record it.

In picture 2, there was me and snow. Although playing snow was fun, I felt cold, too. Beauty and snow make a wonderful scene.

In picture 3, my brother was holding something. Guess what it was? It was a spider web. When we saw a spider web with ice, we were so confused. My cousin even guessed it was a snot.
These pictures remind me of the happy moments in the Tai Pin Mountain. Taiwan is a tropical area, so snow falling is not easy to see. We are so lucky to see it once, and this experience will become a fantastic memory in all of my family.
My autobiography
On May 15th,1993, a magical thing happened-I was born in the world. My name is Cathy Kuang. How did I look? I’m plump, short with small eyes. Beside, I have black hair and black eyes just like most chinese. I consider friendly myself, but my smile looks cheerless, so making friends is not easy to me. I am quiet, but sometimes I am lively, that is why my friends always can’t understand me. I love watching my favorite movies on TV. It’s not only money-saving but also conivent. Besides, I also love listening to lyric music, because it can make me relax . I like romantic songs than pup music .
Taiwan, where I live in is a beautiful island. My father, a humorous doctor is also a gentle father. He was a commander before. Now if I had any questions in math or science, he always teaches me, so he is a good teacher to me. My mother is a homemake, and she is wise. In the past, she was a medical technician. But she quit. I can’t sure why she quit the job. I only know one thing is she loves me very much. Now she is a seminary student. My brother is fourteen. He is a smart junior high school student, who is good at science. Although we have fight sometimes, I am still proud of my family.
I study in Li San high school. School is a place where I can learn more knowledge and how to get along with others. But school means challenge to me, exactly. I have to be brave to face my grades. And I believe these experiences are helpful for me in the future. I wish I could become a director someday, so learning English well is necessary, I guess.
I am a Christian, Church teaches me to love human beings, so I firmly believe that people shouldn’t cheat. Rather, we should be love people. Although love others is not easy to me, I will try as hard as I can.
